The Celtics took a 2-0 series lead on Tuesday after a 107-94 victory in which they outscored the Cavs 59-39 in the second half. All five Boston starters scored in double-figures—a testament to their consistency in the postseason—and were led by Jaylen Brown’s 23 points. Multiple Celtics have raised their level of play from the regular season: Big man Al Horford has gone from 12.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game to 17.1 points and 8.4 rebounds; point guard Terry Rozier jumped from 11.3 points and 2.9 assists to 17.4 points and 5.6 assists; and, forward Brown went from 14.5 points to 17.8 while shooting better percentages overall and from the three-point range. The Cavs got a monster Game Two performance from LeBron James as he strung together 42 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds, but his supporting cast has been abysmal. Only Kevin Love is above 15 points per game for the Cavs, but his percentages have dropped from the regular season. Although Cleveland has made the Finals for three straight years, Social is ready for Boston to advance to the championship round. Over the last seven days, the Celtics have a 75 percent positive score, while the Cavs have a 45 percent positive score. –Alex Shultz
