I have a confession: I have only seen parts of Stranger Things. (Cue gasps!) It’s because I am a baby and even though I’ve been told dozens of times it’s not that scary, the eerie, slightly foreboding theme song makes me anxious. (I was also scared of Scooby-Doo until middle school.) However, my roommate is slightly obsessed with Netflix’s supernatural hit, and our apartment is too small for me not to hear the TV. So, I’ve learned some things. I’ve learned that a boy mysteriously disappears one night, and his best friends (and small Indiana hometown) go looking for him. I’ve learned there’s a monster that escaped a laboratory which may have taken that boy. I’ve learned there is someone named Eleven—she has telepathic powers and loves waffles.
Well, I love waffles, too. And I know my roommate will be watching the Season Two premiere this Friday. So, to compromise, she'll binge watch Stranger Things, and I’ll binge eat these waffles.

How are you celebrating the Stranger Things Season Two premiere? Are you easily afraid, too, and just want waffles? I'm listening!
