‘Detroit Become Human’ A new game that tells an exciting story
I get to try a fair share of games out each year. Yet I had never heard about Detroit Become Human before. It is unlike any game I have ever played. I was able to try a demo of it at E3 and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Detroit Become Human here:
Set in Detroit City during the year 2036, the city has been revitalized by the invention and introduction of Androids into everyday life. But when Androids start behaving as if they are alive, events begin to spin out of control. Step into the roles of the story’s pivotal three playable characters, Kara, Connor and Markus, each with unique perspectives as they face their new way of life.
In this ambitiously bending and thrilling narrative, every choice and action will not only determine the character’s fate, but that of the entire city and possibly beyond.
I really liked this Detroit Become Human demo. I played as Connor, and my mission was to try to stop an Android from killing a human hostage. I got to explore the apartment for clues as to why the Android is doing this. Each clue I found upped the chances of my mission succeeding. The choices the player makes now will affect the direction the game goes. That means there are multiple outcomes with each chapter, which is quite cool.
