Cherry Lime Red Beet Smoothie | Recipe


Savor cherry season with help from Healthy Nibbles and Bits. Sweet cherries, red beets, almond milk and lime juice are blended together to create a vibrant, magenta-colored drink. Whirl up this antioxidant-filled smoothie on a hot summer day for a cooling breakfast, dessert or snack.

Cherry Lime Red Beet Smoothie


  • 1 1/2 cups (450 grams) pitted cherries, fresh or frozen
  • Juice from 1 1/22 limes
  • 1/2 cup (75 grams) raw, chopped red beets
  • 1 cup (240 milliliter) almond milk
  • A few ice cubes
  • Lime slices for garnish (optional)


Blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve in glasses and garnish with a slice of lime, if desired.
